Our Partners

Our Forest Fund is grateful to the following organizations for their endorsement of our mission to save trees:

Great Peninsula Conservancy

Great Peninsula Conservancy logo“Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park protects one of the largest lowland forests remaining in west Puget Sound. This vast forested landscape provides important habitat for bears, salmon, birds, and other wildlife, protects the waters of beautiful Port Gamble Bay, and contains cherished open space cherished as a place for year-round outdoor recreation.”

The Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe

The Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe supports sustainable forestry and the restoration of native forests in the Northwest.

Kitsap Environmental Coalition

Our Forest Fund meets an essential need for Kitsap County. First, they provide critical education. Their website is a great resource on all things related to our Forests – from tree biology to describing mushroom species found in Port Gamble Heritage Park.

They also provide a direct benefit to our forests. They plan to purchase the timber rights so that our forests are kept intact and not clear-cut. Thank you, Our Forest Fund, for your continued efforts to foster a better future for all life in Kitsap County.”

Hansville Greenway

HGA logoThe Hansville Greenway Association (HGA) provides stewardship services for the Hansville Greenway in cooperation with Kitsap County Parks and Recreation Department to:

  • Protect natural areas and wildlife
  • Provide a continuous recreational trail system from Puget Sound to Hood Canal linking neighborhoods with natural areas and recreational areas

  • Work cooperatively with government agencies, other community groups, and businesses to accomplish the mission
