Here’s Something You CAN Do!

There’s a lot of crazy going on. The Gulf of Mexico being renamed at the whim of somebody who is old enough to know better. A lot of government departments being shut down or defunded. Tariffs being promulgated as though it isn’t going to be the ordinary American consumer who will pay for all of it. Science being denied and neighboring countries being threatened with annexation. Prospective beach resort development in a war zone in Palestine. AI and algorithms amplifying the nonsense and disinformation.
Just a whole bunch of bizarre, all by diktat. It seems there isn’t much I can do about all that. I’m just one ordinary American citizen.
What I Can Do to Counter the Crazy
But there is something I can do. I CAN SAVE TREES. Trees that clean the air. Trees that make oxygen. Trees that manage stormwater to replenish groundwater, and that keep topsoil from blowing away in the wind. Trees that lower air and ground temperatures. Trees that provide food and habitat for wildlife. Trees that provide respite from all the crazy that humans do. That’s why I work to save trees. Trees that will live for hundreds of years, forests that can last for thousands of years.
