Tree Planting in the 756

View Calendar

Want to do more for the forest, breathe fresh air, de-stress, work different muscles and meet other forest lovers?

Then join us in planting western white pines and other native trees in some of the newly thinned areas of the  756 acres of forest at the Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park, which were saved in the 2022 tree campaign.

We'll meet at the Port Gamble-Suquamish spur road between Hwy 104 and Bond Road at 9am Sat Mar 11.  Wear weather appropriate workclothes, boots, and work gloves. If you have a narrow-bladed shovel, bring it along, otherwise we will have some on hand. The terrain will be rough, so you will get a good workout. Hot cider provided, too!

Let us know by email to savingtrees@ourforestfund.org that you are planning to help out, so we have an idea of how many will be coming.
