Throughout October, Our Forest Fund has been soliciting for pledges from Kitsap businesses to build our Local Business Matching Fund. We are excited to announce that even in this difficult economic climate, local businesses have proven that they support the environment, pledging a whopping $12,250 for our individual donors to match!
Some of the generous businesses who pledged to double your donations are Kitsap Tire Center, Nordiska, Oxalis Kitchen, The NW Dog, Red Plantation Marketplace and Sweet & Savories, among others. These businesses appreciate the importance of forest and deserve our cheers and patronage! Thank you so much!
