We Have Almost Reached Our November Goal!
Wow! Here we are at the halfway point, and Our Forest Fund supporters have almost reached the November matching goal of $12,250! The following local eco-conscious businesses (and others, who prefer to be anonymous) together have pledged that amount as a challenge to the public:
As of the time of this post, $11,239 has been raised so far, leaving just $1,011 left to meet our goal. To all of you who have already donated, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
We have just 14 days to go. We must raise this money by Dec 2nd so that these businesses will double our donations. Are you ready to contribute? Clearly, you love trees and recognize how important they are to everyone on the planet, since you are here at the Our Forest Fund website.
Working together, we can accomplish a lot.
The local businesses pooled their money together to encourage YOU and to have their donation dollars doubled. If those of you who have not yet pitched in to the match pool do so now, YOUR donation dollars will be doubled. Your $25 will have the power of $50, your $200 will be have the power of $400! Twice as many trees saved.
And remember: saving trees and conserving forests is the longest-lasting, unequivocal good most of us will ever do. Long after we are gone, and our grandchildren and their grandchildren, the trees we save will be cooling and filtering the air, managing stormwater, enriching the soil, providing habitat for wildlife and recreation for humans. That is the definition of true legacy.
